there was an explosion at the salt lake city public library (main branch). i don't think anyone was hurt, which is good. people do crazy things at the library. today a guy tried to steal a small paperback book from our library that was probably less than $3.

on a sillier note, i saw this on a local new station's website. it's called "a tribute to utah" and it pokes fun at the names of the state. i don't know if it's cute funny or just plain crazy. mostly it's just utahns perpetuating the stereotype that utah is weird. yeah....judge for yourself..
