Sept. 21, 2006 — Studies of resumes have found that people with black-sounding names are less likely to get callbacks.

"20/20" put 22 pairs of names to the test, posting identical resumes except for the names at the top.

ok, so i love the book freakonomics, but my question is: what about the asian names, huh? what about the "phuc yu's" and the "tu luong's"?

on a serious note, this is a sad sad statement of today's society. i mean, really? is this still happening? shame on us. i dont usually do this because i think it is a bit stupid, but this deserves a big frown-y face --> :-(
